3 Reasons We Love Studio Sessions | Atlanta Lifestyle Photographer

With heaps of natural light and fresh white walls, it’s clear why photographers love shooting in a studio setting. But there’s more to this simple blank space than meets the eye.

I’ve been shooting at Park Studios in Buckhead for several years now…but before that I remember being pretty discouraged by a couple of dirty, poorly run studio spaces. I’m so grateful for a space that is convenient, clean, and consistently delivers gorgeous photos (thank you Alice and Kyu Park for making my photographer dreams come true ha!). Baby plan clients, let me know if you’re interested in the studio for one of your milestone shoots! Here are a few other reasons why I love it so…

1) NOT weather permitting. I can’t tell you how many outdoor shoots I’ve rescheduled due to weather. Spring, summer, winter, fall, rain, fog, wind, freezing cold, mid-day sunshine, the studio makes for even natural light and everyone is happy and comfortable for the entirety of the shoot. Happy kiddos mean happy photos which means happy clients!

2) Client comforts. From the moment people walk in, they’re blown away by how comfortable they feel at the studio. Complimentary coffee, refreshments, upbeat music, a sparkling clean space, and a large private changing room. Families are able to change diapers, freshen hair, change clothes, have a snack break, take 5, whatever is needed between shots.

3) Timeless style, great for framing. I’ve had clients do multiple studio shoots with different kiddos and pull photos from each of these sessions into a single wall gallery. The colors and tones are so consistent from shoot to shoot, and your diapered baby crawling around on a white floor will never go out of style.
