When I see these photos I think about a story of courage, perseverance, and redemption. I also think about a story of disappointment, hardship, and loss. My sister’s battle with infertility began over 5 years ago - at which point I was very unaware of what women with infertility were experiencing and just how daunting the IVF process really is. McKenzie, with Javier by her side, never wavered even after receiving the worst news over and over and over. And now by the grace of God (and modern medicine wohoo!) they have been blessed with not one, but TWO healthy baby girls!
