Smith Session Highlights | Atlanta Newborn Photography

Let’s hear it for all the parents bringing new life into this EXTRA crazy world right now! Megan and her husband had their baby in the height of quarantine, so we opted for a front porch mini session to capture those newborn first days, and later went back for their full in-home session. Baby Philip was bright eyed and alert at about 8 weeks and I absolutely love how his solos turned out. They were my first newborn since Covid hit, and while the the mask & gloves still feel like a foreign new-normal, we were able to take every precaution to help my clients feel at ease.

These two are suchhh sweet parents and it was so fun to include Megan’s mom (who looks just like her) in a few of the photos. My favorite shots are of them in the nursery. Megan is also a former Atlanta ballet dancer....you can see her pretty toe point sometimes when she’s crossing her legs. 🤣 muscle memory right there! The overcast light and soft blue palette all came together for such a pretty session, along with makeup by the talented Nancy Riley. She always makes our newborn moms feel beautiful!
