Relaxed Mother & Son Portraits at Home | Atlanta Child Photographer

After a busy Spring with all the newborns, we’re jumping back to share this casual ‘mommy and me’ session. I’ve gotten to know the Richman family over the last year, photographing Gus’ newborn session (time flies!) and I always enjoy getting to see their kiddos in new stages. Melissa’s husband AJ is a lawyer and has helped us with our adoption process, which has been such a blessing. It’s incredible how God puts the right people in our lives at the right time.

For this session, we wanted to capture Gus (the happiest, cutest, chunkiest baby) in his element. I love Melissa’s fresh and creative decor style (think floral wallpaper), and the natural light pouring in makes their home the perfect spot. We got all the giggles, big sister hopped in for a few frames, and even caught some baby booty in the bath :) These close, natural moments while they’re still small are some of my favorites.
